Players Review

Everest Poker was first seen online back in 1997 and has been a favourite amongst poker players ever since. Truly multilingual Everest offer fully translated software in 5 different languages offering the gaming experience to players in over 150 countries from all corners of the world. Now on the iPoker network.  The software is top notch and runs very smoothly which is appreciated by Everest’s discerning players. Owned by Everest Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited, and dedicated to fair play and security, you won’t go far wrong at Everest – a very popular independent poker room.

The games available are Hold’em and Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 5 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud and Speed Poker.

There’s a poker community section on the Everest Poker website which is always worth a look to catch up with all the breaking poker news. Everest Poker believe that it’s their players that make the game.

Welcome Bonus

New players can count on a very warm welcome when they decide to sign up at Everest Poker. This special sign up package includes a generous 200% match deposit up to $2000,  plus 2 free tickets to the monthly new player freeroll with a chance of $4,000 in prizes. New players are treated to an Everest Poker Tutorial to show you how to use the poker software before you start – most useful! You have 60 days to earn your bonus.

Loyalty

Everest Poker’s VIP Summit Club is their way of handsomely rewarding their loyal players. As you play in any real money games you will be earning summit points which will determine you VIP tier for the following month. The higher you climb up the VIP Summit Club’s ladder the greater the rewards. There are VIP Summit Club freerolls and you can exchange you summit points for tournament entries or cash.

Cash (ring) Games

Low limit cash games are very popular at Everest Poker you can get a seat at a freeroll, play for 50 summit points (SPs) or $0.10 / $0.10 any night of the week. The style of play varies but I found most players on the cautious side. I would suggest you use the lobby stats to seek out the looser tables.

Sit n Go’s

Lots of lovely sit and go’s just waiting to be played! The tables are usually 6,10 seated with occasional larger 12 or 18 seated game thrown in. You don’t wait long for the tables to fill up at Everest. You can play for as little as 5 Summit Points or just $0.05. High rollers are catered for but you may have to wait a while for five players to join you at tournament Tutupaca with a buy in of $530.

Tournaments

Scheduled tournaments are poker excitement at its’ finest. You have to register in advance and count down to when the action starts! There’s a good range of tournaments at Everest, player numbers are at their greatest at European peak times. Many of these tournament have guaranteed prize pools which means even if the prize money isn’t covered by the buy ins Everest will put in the difference so the pot reaches at least the set amount.

You can play in a tournament at Everest for as little as 50 Sps or $0.20, when I last checked the highest buy in,on Saturdays for instance, was $109.
